What sessions include

Honest conversation, practical tools.

Her Worth is never an adult lecture about social media, relationships or “girls today”. Girls analyse the world they already navigate and decide what they believe.

Comparison audit

Spot when comparison helps, harms or distorts how you see yourself.

Message wall

Collect what girls are told about beauty, behaviour, relationships and ambition, then accept, reject or question each message.

Algorithm lens

See how repeated online content can make a narrow ideal feel universal.

Boundary scenarios

Practise the words for saying no, asking for space and spotting respectful behaviour.

The apology experiment

Notice when you apologise for speaking, disagreeing or setting a boundary.

Ambition without apology

Build a future vision that includes whatever you choose: work, money, creativity, family, leadership.

Week by week

Ten weeks, ten questions.

Each week starts from a question girls told us matter, not an answer adults want them to reach.

Week 1The Space We Create

What would make this a place where I can be honest? The group sets its own ground rules.

Week 2Who Am I Without Comparison?

Who am I when I stop measuring myself against other people? A comparison audit looks at when comparison helps, harms or distorts.

Week 3Who Told Me What a Girl Should Be?

Which expectations do I accept, reject or question? The message wall sorts what girls hear about beauty, behaviour and ambition.

Week 4Beauty, Bodies and the Feed

How do images, filters and algorithms shape what I think is normal? The algorithm lens shows how repeated content makes a narrow ideal feel universal.

Week 5Friendships, Belonging and People-Pleasing

Where do I shrink myself to stay accepted? An honest look at friendship dynamics and the pressure to be liked.

Week 6Relationships, Boundaries and Respect

What do I want respect to look and feel like? Boundary scenarios let girls practise language for saying no and asking for space.

Week 7Voice, Confidence and Being “Too Much”

What happens when I stop apologising for having a view? The apology experiment notices when we apologise for speaking, disagreeing or taking space.

Week 8Women, Ambition and Money

What am I allowed to want for my future? Ambition without apology: a vision that can include work, money, creativity, family or leadership.

Week 9Women I Can See Myself Becoming

What can I learn from real women’s journeys, including their setbacks? Guests share varied paths, not one picture of success.

Week 10My Worth, My Future

What will I carry forward, protect and pursue? A letter to younger or future me closes the programme.

Who it’s for

For girls who are ready to define worth on their own terms.

Her Worth is for teenage girls who feel the pull of comparison, approval and being liked, and want space to work out what they actually think.

  • Girls aged 16–18
  • Curious about identity, boundaries, friendships and ambition
  • No need to share anything personal. Nobody is forced to disclose.
  • Able to commit to a weekly session for 10 weeks

How we run it

Curious, not moralising.

Sessions are led by a facilitator and two or three consistent female mentors or youth workers, in a private, psychologically safe space. There is room to disagree, and no single picture of what a woman should be.

Concerns about relationships, abuse or online harm are handled through clear safeguarding routes, and anything outside the programme’s remit is referred on.

Our principles

  • Strengths-based, never deficit-based
  • No forced sharing of personal experiences
  • Room for disagreement between participants
  • Diverse women and life paths, not one narrow story of success
  • Girls are never framed as the problem

What changes

What girls leave with.

Self-worth

Describing worth with more than appearance, popularity or approval.

Critical awareness

Questioning social messages and comparison triggers.

Boundaries

Recognising respectful behaviour and having the language to set limits.

Voice

More willing to share an opinion, ask for help and disagree respectfully.

Aspiration

A future they want and at least three actions towards it.
